Rain's pickin' up again. Last time we took shelter in Marks & Spencer. This time the Hillhead Stn. See how long it lasts.

Cresswell Lane had some cool looking little pubs and restos.

Meeting a couple Glaswegians at Hillhead Stn. Took the metro here and it's dark, dirty, and a little depressing. The yellow and orange just makes it look outdated rather than sunny but I guess it gets you where you need to be.

Navigation by rain shelter

A beautiful shopping center off Buchanan St. (?). Lots of wood and iron fanciwork.

A lot more music in the streets. Bagpipe, saxophone, a guy singing an operatic "What a Wonderful World." It's not as good as you might think.

Ended up in McD's. Mike says we've been eating too healthy. This place is two floors huge and all the furniture is black white grey modern.

Stopped in a music shop looking for those guitar strings but out of stock. Proud of myself for being able to talk street names when getting directions for the nearest alternate... after 2 hours in the city.

Met up w/ our friend Amy, another Canadian, in the café and we're talking about sushi and taxes. Go figure.
